HW 70 ·Air Pistol The HW70 air pistol is a good quality target/plinking pistol built in Germany, that feels really good in your hand when you pick it up. You can tell that the designers at Weihrauch wanted to make a gun that would last for many years, as the pistol is all metal where it counts; both front and rear sights, barrel and receiver tube are heavy duty steel construction, with only the grip frame made of synthetic. The rear sight and trigger are adjustable. The safety is automatically activated upon cocking and the grip is ambidextrous. All in all, this air pistol represents a great value for the price. The HW70 is only made in .177 caliber and shoots a pellet downrange right around 400fps. There is no provision for mounting a scope on this model.
