Tigullio T52 Hover BCD
T52 Hover BCD
Is there a way to achieve ideal buoyancy both on the surface and underwater? ... There is now!
SBS, Sequential Buoyancy System (pat. pending) is a real solution which has come from the analysis of the distribution of internal air masses.
SBS allows the Hover BC to be inflated according to correct sequence: first at the back, then at the front. Air is initially distributed around the tank for an ideal swimming position underwater; and fills the front only when the BC is fully inflated, to provide a secure and comfortable lift on the surface.
The Hover doesn’t just offer the right balance but also thanks to the integrated wing system gives a considerably increased vertical lift - up to 28kg, more than double that of most other jackets.
Rugged construction using high-strength materials including Cordura 1000 and Nylon 840 D.
Double- bag Rear Bladder, reinforced with an external abrasion-proof mesh and held in by sturdy marine elastic to minimize the “wing” effect and allow for quick air discharge.
Classic-style cut at front, designed to provide maximum stability.
Two high capacity and practical front pockets, with double-slider zip closure.
Supplied complete with the Integrated Weight Device including releasable front weights and with the Trim Pocket rear buoyancy correction system.
Equipped with a complete range of accessories and great attention to detail in the perfect T52 style.

| Strengths: |
Loads of lift, great positioning in the water, tough and durable construction.
I had to replace the whole inflater assembly thanks to a clumsy dive guide in Sharm, had no problems getting the part , when I got home just a quick call to Beaver (the UK distributor ) and got one next day delivery. |
| Weaknesses: |
Dry weight quite heavy, Velcro fastenings only on integrated weight system. However I have never had any slippage problems, i just feel they could be better with a sturdier clip. |
| Overall: |
Have had one for about 4 years. would definitely consider a new one when / if ever it wears out. |
