PADI Divemaster Course
You can lead, you can follow or you can get out of the way. For divers who are up for the challenge and have the desire to lead, the PADI Divemaster course will guide you on your way to being professional-level scuba diver. As a certified Divemaster you’ll be ready to work at dive centers and on dive boats including tropical live-aboards. You will assist PADI instructors with student divers, lead divers on local guided tours and lead certified divers in local discovery dives.
Many instructors say the Divemaster course was the most challenging program in their overall training. That’s no accident. Becoming a Divemaster takes you into the elite of the diving community. There are three modules that make up the course: Knowledge Development, Water Skills and Practical Application. Timed swims, watermanship exercises, academic sessions covering physics, physiology and equipment, assisting instructors...these are among the things you’ll learn as you progress through the course on your way to being a PADI professional.
As a PADI Certified Divemaster you will be a member of the world’s largest and most recognized professional diving organization. PADI Divemasters are in demand the world over. As a first professional step to becoming an instructor, you will be embarking in the ultimate adventure. Your journey into dive leadership starts here. Dare to be challenged!
